The Silicon Crossroads Collaboration Center, commonly known as SC3, is a hub-centric cutting-edge innovation center that fosters an open collaborative environment that inspires and empowers hub members to collide, harmonize and convene. The SC3 serves as a gathering place for all hub activities and events, as well as a home to researchers from the hub’s R1 universities and the entire membership base unifying the three-state (Illinois, Michigan, and Indiana) hub coalition.
The build out offers a modular space that can accommodate up to 75 people seated classroom style, features a glass walled area to conduct private group sessions/meetings and open collaboration areas/pods as well as a kitchen/serving area.
The design of the center is a state-of-the-art space to foster enriching engagements, provoke creative thought, and implement innovation through a purpose-driven, collaborative knowledge sharing framework.
The center serves as a central location to facilitate workshops, host hybrid events, and for the workforce development initiatives to assemble. The space is FREE to SCMC hub members for the hosting of any hub associated team meetings, project sessions, and/or government associated exchanges.
